"Dundalk Avenue" is the name of a "Barber Shop" quartet, and we sing a unique form of four part a cappella harmony
known as (can you believe it?) "Barber Shop harmony". The four gentlemen in the quartet are long-time friends, and have been singing together for over thirty years.
Since all members of the quartet belong to the
Dundalk. MD chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, we decided to incorporate some local (Dundalk) flavor when we chose the quartet name by naming the quartet after something unique to the Dundalk area...
that is - "Dundalk Avenue".
